As busy, city dwellers, what we enjoyed most were the exceptional vistas from every which way, the cool, fresh country air, the serenity and the stars. The photos simply don’t do it justice. The moment we walked in, it was amazing. The house was warm and the log fire – wonderful. The toiletries and towels were great, and the beds comfy. The cottage was clean and well supplied.

The younger ones were pleased (and surprised) that there was Wifi. It was all charming. We were thrilled to see the Edna Walling garden. This was the highlight of the visit, and something I was very happy to experience with my mother. We greatly enjoyed our short stay, and hope to visit again.
