Markdale Stone House & Annexe Tariffs (correct as at January 2006)

Tariffs include accommodation and a hearty country breakfast for you to prepare.Weekly tariffs by arrangement.

MEALS

Whilst breakfast is already included in the tariff for the Stone House and Annexe, pre-cooked meals from the “Markdale Homestead” seasonal menu can be left in the refrigerator or freezer, and we offer catering for special nights, say for large evening meals for groups. Please discuss choices and prices when booking.

TRANSPORT

Pickup can be arranged from the train at Goulburn, and four wheel drive transport can be provided to particular places on the property. Ask for details.

DEPOSITS

A deposit of 50% of the total tariff payable is required to confirm a booking. Cheques & credit cards (Visa, Mastercard and Bankcard) accepted. Half the deposit will be refunded, provided not less than two weeks notice of a cancellation is given. Otherwise deposits are non-refundable. Deposits paid and not refunded can be credited against subsequent stays.

PHONE AND BROADBAND WIRELESS INTERNET ACCESS

For those who want to get away from it all Markdale is not in a mobile service area! Full unrestricted phones are provided in the Stone House and Annexe but we ask for monetary contributions to our Honesty Box for outgoing long distance calls, overseas calls, or mobile calls.

The internet connectivity is broadband WiFi service and is available in the Stone House, Annexe and in the poolhouse and garden. The WiFi service is unrestricted but please make a small contribution to the Honesty Box if you are a heavy bandwidth user as we pay high rural charges based on useage levels.
