The Markdale Experience
Markdale is the family property of the
Australian polo-playing Ashton brothers who developed it from the 1930s. It's situated in NSW, 80 kms (an hour's drive) north-west of Goulburn, or one and a half hour's drive from Canberra.
Markdale's five acre award-winning garden and rambling homestead are a remarkable mirror of the elegance of the decades stretching from the '30s to the present.
Guests stay in the original 1850's 'Stone House'and 'Annexe', part of a working sheep and cattle station in the hills of the Great Dividing Range. Markdale is the real thing and you can be part of it.
See accommodation for details of the two self-contained houses or sections for the many activities/facilities the property offers, the garden and its seasons, guest reviews, and availability.
