How to get there
Approaches to Markdale traverse the Great Dividing Range and provide stunning views of the countryside.
Markdale is on a sealed road near Crookwell, 80 kilometers northwest of Goulburn, three and a quarter hour's drive from Sydney, and Canberra about 90 minutes drive (we recommend the picturesque route via Gunning rather than through Goulburn).
Bathurst is about an hour's drive and again a very scenic drive. The map below shows the approach from Goulburn but we can also give you directions from Bathurst/western Sydney (the last section of this route is unsealed).
Collection and travel by road can be arranged. There is an airstrip on the property and transport by light aircraft can be organised (45 minutes from Sydney and 30 minutes from Canberra). There is also a rail link to Goulburn from Sydney and other main stations.
